Take the train with us on a trip to Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp, a 112 year old community of spiritually-minded people located in Central Florida. Cassadaga is a permanent spiritualist "camp" derivative of spiritual camp meetings popular in the late 1800's.
Special Guest, Healer, Psychic and Medium, Ms. Nellie Edwards is taking us on a tour through the history, religion, and people of Cassadaga. Founded by a young New Yorker, George Colby in 1875, who was told twenty years prior in a seance he'd someday found a spiritualist community in the south, Colby was led through Florida's wilderness by a spirit guide called "Seneca" to an area surrounded by uncommon hills in central Florida where the prophey was fulfilled in what we now call: Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp. The sunflower is the emblem representing the camps core belief "As the sunflower turns its face to the light of the sun so spiritualism turns the face of humanity to the light of truth".
