Celebrating One Year of Wings Bookstore with Sharon Jebens

THIS SUNDAY May 4, join Wings Bookstore celebrate its first birthday--beginning at the First Unity 9 & 11am services-- followed by cake and beverages at Wings Bookstore, and an incredible concert at 1:30pm by guest pianist, Peter Kater. For more than 20 years First Unity’s bookstore was a small room--run by volunteers. Crammed shelves held the Unity classics, Daily Words, Bibles, some cards and small gifts. In the late 1980s and early 90s, First Unity saw the world waking up, as Deepak Chopra and Marianne Williamson appeared on the scene, followed by James Redfield’s "The Celestine Prophecy" in 1995; The Dead Sea Scrolls were made public, the energy body was discovered; our connection to Mother Earth and ancient cultures was re-discovered, and Oprah, who I call: MOMMA “O”, introduced meditation to the nation. Yes, the Unity message was out the closet, but their bookstore was still in its 300 sq. ft. nook inside the church bursting at the seams.

TODAY Wings Bookstore located on 4500 4th Street North features a gourmet coffee bar with inside/outside seating on the beautifully covered patio. Offering a schedule of in-store activities, as well as major off-site events with renowned speakers and authors. Wings Bookstore was born ONE YEAR AGO to support US on our spiritual journey and nourish our body, mind & soul.
What Is Unity?
Unity is a spiritual movement founded in 1889, which has more than 900 Unity churches worldwide. stop drinking the kool aid!!!

You will be so disappointed when you realized how much of your life you wasted with this nonsense. If you think your religion is better and you are more in touched with God because of this church you are very wrong!
Look around at your pews.....people don't stay long at the church for a reason.
