We dedicate Universal Music Day to the Musician in each of us!
We especially honor, encourage and inspire that 80% of the non-singers and non-Musicians who WISH they could make Music.
When: THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10TH, 2009 from 6pm - 9pm
Where: UUC Octagon Art Center 2470 Nursery Road - Clearwater
WE also honor the amateur and professional Musicians for the dedication , perseverance and commitment to practice for decades to enrich their own life and the lives of those they touch!
Universal Music Day - sets aside one day a year to encourage and inspire people everywhere
to claim, reclaim or rejoice in one's ability to sing and make Music.
Music and Music-making teach many life lessons. It is our attempt to open up new ways of thinking abaout the chaos in one's life--the unpredictable changes that often abruptly strip away our selves and our lives as we know it and offer us gifts that we can't even imagine unless we are willing to FEEL and LIVE our experiences fully. When we feel, we open up deep listening to our hearts. Our hearts are the seat of our true intelligence and our heart will not lead us astray. Thoughts or emotionality will but our hearts never will lead us astray.
YOU are the only one who has the power to know and sing your heart song!
Making Music is too important to our bodies, minds and spirits to leave only for the professionals.
We speak primarily to the 80% of the non-musicians who "WISH" they made Music.
