Dr. Darnise Martin has been a spiritual student and teacher for over 20 years. Finally following the spiritual calling upon her life in 1994, she left her previous career to pursue formal theological training. She now holds a PhD from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, and is on the faculty in African-American Studies at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. Shaped by her advanced studies in Christian History, Myth and Religion and New Thought philosophy Darnise has fashioned her life’s work to focus on questions of ultimate meaning.
